Stop Blaming Carbs and Sugars

Let’s be real here. The bread🥪, pasta, rice🍚, ice cream🍦, pizza🍕, and all the sugar in the world is not the problem! 

YOU…your thoughts and mindset about all the carbs and sugar IS THE REAL problem!

Last time I checked, our clients are getting REAL results after enjoying a weekend of pasta and ice cream. 

It’s not about the carbs or the sugar peeps, and deep inside, a lot of you probably know that, right?


A client who just joined our CORE Method program this week said to me:

𝘐𝘷𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭! 𝘐𝘷𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺, 𝘐𝘮 𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰. 𝘐 𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘴. 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘰 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬.”


Most people feel this way and start restricting calories, cutting sugars, going into Keto for uneducated reasons.

Sounds familiar? 🤔

Your problem is around your lack of control around eating carbs and sugars.


When you’re sad, you reach out for a pizza, which may turn into a week of carb and sugar loading. Then you feel guilty😩, embarrassed and so you punish yourself by restricting yourself from all the carbs and sugars 😈. 

But you know that only lasts for a short period of time before you get frustrated, lost, OUT OF CONTROL and structure!


It’s not about the carbs guys…it NEVER is!

It’s your thoughts 🧠, your feelings, you having NO control.

Can you imagine living a life without control? It’s pretty much living in a bubble of frustrations, guilt, punishment, overwhelm, lost….it sucks!

No one gets results when there is a lack of control and structure.

But you continue on with the same habits. Months after months, for years.


At some point, you just believe that carbs and sugars are evil.

Calm down 🖐! It’s just a f*ckn pizza or ice cream! It’s no evil spirit!

But you’ve let it control your life, your health, your relationships, your happiness, your energy and your emotions.


FIX THE PROBLEM…yes, I’m referring to YOU, YOUR THOUGHTS AND PERCEPTION about carbs and sugar!

And if you’re continuing to restrict your calories, eating next to nothing, I can guarantee…your 1100 calories are doing more harm than good.


It screws up your metabolic function, your hormonal function, your cognitive function and your reproductive function (yes including your sex drive!).

So eat the damn carbs and embrace the sugar we’ve been given in this planet.


Until you change this cycle of poor thinking and restricting yourself of certain foods, you will continue to struggle to get REAL life-long, sustainable results.

It is simple gang!

Not easy.

But you have to eat enough to support your mind and body to handle stress and gain control back into your life.


I’m so amazed at how many times our clients have gained so much more control within a short period pf time, purely just simplifying the whole process of eating real foods, adding carbs and sugars at the right time, and feeling super epic energetically and emotionally.

When they’ve changed their mindset through the CORE Method, they become more powerful humans.

As I mentioned, the process is simple, not easy.

It’s a process of up and downs, falling off the wagon, but it’s a continuous journey of learning, growing, and transforming.
